Magellan Explorer

Last Voyage -  New Expedition

(Tromsø, Norway, December 17, 1999) -- Enriva Development has changed the name of its File and Internet tool called Voyager 98 to Magellan Explorer.

The name was changed in order to avoid any confusion with the similarly named FTP Voyager from Rhino Software. If you have used Voyager 98 before, you will find Magellan Explorer to be better in almost every aspect. This new version contains more features, more options and improved performance and ease of use.

Internet users looking to manage all their files will benefit from Magellan Explorer. It allows them to download and open Zip files, publish web pages and view pictures. All within a single, attractive package.

The integration of a FTP and Zip client and image viewer within a file utility helps users perform some increasingly standard desktop operations. Moving files to and from the wild jungle that is the Internet is no more difficult than accessing them on the hard drive. Navigation between local folders, FTP sites and Zip files is simple using a number of web browser features, such as Bookmarks, History and Back/Forwards buttons.

Magellan Explorer costs $29.95 (USD) for a single-user license. Online ordering, and a list of distributors is available at
